Genesis 4
Adam's first born son, Cain was jealous of his second born son, Able because God preferred his offerings, so Cain slew Able. Although Cain was banished to the land of Nod, East of Eden, he was protected from the revenge of others by a mark put upon him by God. Cain later had a son, Enoch while Adam had a third son, Seth.
